Programme Transport-Hébergement (Montérégie)

Programme Transport-Hébergement (Montérégie)

The Programme Transport-Hébergement (Montérégie) promotes accessibility to services and allows the social integration of people with disabilities. This program aims to provide them with financial assistance for trips made as part of their intervention plan. People eligible for the program must meet the following criteria: reside in Quebec, live in the Montérégie region (Centre, East or West), and not reside in an establishment of the health and social services network. Eligible persons must also meet the definition of handicapped person of the Minister of Health and Social Services of Quebec, i.e. any person who, in a significant and persistent way, has a physical, intellectual or psychic deficiency leading to functional limitations and situations of disability. This definition includes people with kidney impairment requiring hemodialysis treatments until a kidney transplant is performed. Among the territories served, we find the Montérégie region.
