West Island Volunteer Accompaniment (ABO VAS) offers a transportation accompaniment service to vulnerable West Island residents who have no other way to get to their appointments. medical and social services on the island of Montreal. This organization facilitates meaningful roles for its volunteers, while supporting positive outcomes for its clients. The clientele served by this organization are the elderly, people in vulnerable situations and/or people with reduced mobility. For social services, the person must be aged 65 and over, otherwise a CLSC referral is required. Among the territories served, we find the borough of Baie d'Urfé, Beaconsfield, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Dorval, Île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève, Kirkland, Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Pointe-Claire, Senneville and Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.
