Association Lavalloise des Personnes Aidantes (ALPA)

Association Lavalloise Des Personnes Aidantes (ALPA) aims to raise awareness among the population of Laval about the reality of caregivers by developing and improving its services to contribute to their psychological, family and social needs through its constantly evolving expertise. The organization offers caregivers respite at home, advisory services, meetings to discuss the difficulties encountered in the face of their loved ones' loss of autonomy, as well as possible solutions in a mutual aid context. The clientele is all caregivers, regardless of the age or condition of the person being cared for. Among the organization's territories we find Laval. Respite at the facility is for those 21 and over for DI/DP/ASD; and a day center for 65 and over. Respite at home is offered regardless of the age of the person being cared for.
