Centre de crise Le Transit
The Centre de crise Le Transit offers specialized first-line crisis intervention services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our services are intended for any adult living in a crisis situation as well as their loved ones. Our interventions aim to support the person through the crisis so that they regain their balance, by searching for new means, a level of autonomy, confidence and well-being that is satisfactory for them. Our goal is to reduce the suffering experienced by the person seeking help, to resolve the crisis situation to quickly regain the previous functioning and, if possible, to improve it. We offer various services, such as a 24/7 telephone intervention line, mobile intervention in the community, short-term follow-up, temporary accommodation and referral. The clientele served concerns any adult living in a crisis situation as well as their loved ones. Among the territories served, we find the Centre-Est-de-l'Île-de-Montréal sector, which includes the Centre-Sud, Plateau Mont-Royal, Petite-Patrie, Villeray and Saint-Michel Sud.
