Société Alzheimer de l'Estrie

Société Alzheimer de l'Estrie

The Société Alzheimer de l'Estrie supports people with neurocognitive disorders and their loved ones in addition to raising awareness and informing the population about the disease and its consequences. It also has the mission of supporting research on Alzheimer's disease and related diseases. The clientele served by the organization consists of people affected by the disease, caregivers and members of the entourage. Training services are also aimed at health professionals and a cognitive prevention activity for the general population aged 50 and over (experiencing normal intellectual aging). Among the seven territories served, we find the RCMs of Memphrémagog, Coaticook, Val-Saint-François, Sources, Haut-Saint-François, Granit and the city of Sherbrooke.
